I've seen that thing on a tv show about the biggest vehicles, but I'm not sure the scale struck me just as well as it does with that fire truck parked under it. That also provides one hell of a reference for the scale of the space shuttle.

It's more fun to drive to Cape and take a tour of the Enterprise (the one that never flew) and a trip inside the Saturn 5 assembly building. Then a short drive (say 25 minutes) down the road from the Sat5 building to the launch viewing spot, all the while seeing the size of the tracks on the gravel road.
Actually, the pic at the top of the page is GM's new Hybrid vehicle, and the stuff in the middle is just the battery component. Started off as a Volt-Two, and then the Government kicked in some research money (oh, about 25 Bil or so), and, well, things just kinda got out of hand ...
