The new BMW grill

Not a review per se but I really don't like the new BMW grill compared to the old one. It just doesn't look right.

Looks like beaver teeth or giant nostrils. Seems to be a growing trend now, either big grills or big badges or both. Maybe it's a final tribute to the ICE considering EVs don't need grills, so they're making a point?

I don't know what they are thinking. My Sonata has a very large grill and it looks ok. There's just something about the new BMW grill that doesn't work for me. But if I had a blank check I'd have to think seriously about even considering anything other than an early 1970's 3.0CSi or late 1990's 740i.

It doesn't look so bad in the UK as we use a large wide license plate so it effectively cuts the grill in half and breaks up the illusion somewhat. But still, kind of odd. Maybe it looks better in the metal...

It's hard to tell if BMW is trolling Lexus or if Lexus is trolling BMW with the huge grille designs.

I don't find any of the larger grilles to be all that great looking, comparatively.
