filtering TPS on insight, vx?

I just read this article, it was prety good, maybe it will work on my vx, I'm going to hook up a wideband o2 sensor and see where im at right now and play with this idea. Will also be testing this out on my dads insight.

What's the catch? Why would Honda have neglected to do that in the first place?

I have no idea.. the insight was designed to be an extremely FE car.. but it's not completely designed for a hypermiler.. for as little that is involved with this it's worth a shot.

It may not do anything for my car but you must admit that many of the top hyper milers have fitted hand throttles to hold the throttle more steady.
I just have to say that this idea is awful darn clever. I can see why it makes more difference on the insight but it might help others too.
