Maybe posted before , but it may be interesting.

"Aerodynamics: the combination of a VORTEX generator (a small, drag-reducing, roofmounted feature), a flexible splitter under the front bumper, wheel fairings and a rear lip spoiler have enabled the Cd to be cut from the 0.36 of a standard Logan to 0.29"

Interesting. Small, fairly commonplace changes, but 0.36 to 0.29 is a big drop. The only uncommon things are the vortex generators and the rear wheel fairings (and no skirts?) No bellypan?

I guess the overall shape was pretty good so the just did some tweaking specific to the deficiencies in that design, I'm not sure it would all be directly transferable to other designs. Still, small changes, more than worth it the effort it seems. I want my own blasted windtunnel.

Note that the rear lip is @ a 45 degree angle, which according to NASCAR-philes allows the smallest spoiler to acheive "x" amount of separation.

I still don't get vortex generators or how the affect the airflow.
