Question Fuelly Fuel-Up app crashes on Android 8

Hello,

Sorry if this has already been brought to your attention, but I noticed that ever since I upgraded my Nexus 5X to Android 8, your app crashes when trying to upload a fuel-up. Is there a fix/workaround?

Thanks!

EDIT: Sorry, it is actually the Fuelly Fuel-Up app that is crashing. Is this app no longer supported? Should I be using something else to send fuel-ups from my phone? Thanks!

The Fuelly Fuelup App isn't supported. You might want to give aCar 5.0 a try. It will sync with Fuelly, however the user interface will be different.

Thanks!

What about the main Fuelly app? Is there a reason I'd want to use aCar instead of Fuelly app?

I might be wrong on the Fuelly app, I believe that was created by a user many years ago. I think we control it now, but it has not been updated in many years and with each Android update, it is another step closer to being completely unusable.

aCar offers many features beyond those offered in Fuelly.

This is extremely disappointing to hear. I'm not at all a fan of aCar and will not be moving to it. Fuelly provides a simple way to record fuel mileage. I will ask to take time/resource to revamp the app.
