Chicago CL 93 Civic VX - thinking of buying

So another VX is up for sale in Chicagoland on craigslist and I am wondering what people's consensus is on this posting. I don't think I can post links yet, but the title is "93' Honda Civic Hatch Rust Free (Cali Car) - $2000 (Palatine)" and it looks like an honest to goodness, VX, albeit gutted. The only thing I am concerned about it is all the wording at the end. Who does that with legitimate intentions?

Anything else in the posting a red flag?

Thoughts?

Thanks.

It's not worth $2000. Too many mods. I don't like that the hood, left fender and front bumper cover were replaced either. Interior butchered.

Missing the original VX wheels too. You would need new wheels and tires - look at the fat skins on it.

I wouldn't pay even $1000 for it if it was my intention to restore it to OEM condition. It's too far gone for that.

If it has a california ECU, then you would need to get a FED ECU to have lean burn.
