Free Honda Civic Radio

Hey guys I have a free radio that I pulled out of my 1991 Honda Civic that I had in Japan. It still worked when I took it out, to replace it with a Kenwood CD Player. It's an Alpine/Gathers AM/FM tape player model # GXC-7108SFW. The only bad thing is that it is tuned for Japanese frequencies. FM 76.0 - 90.0 Mhz and AM 522-1629 Khz. I'm not sure if it can be changed to American frequencies or not. I will post pics if anyone is interested.

Cool Daniel. I was going to throw it away. Did you read about the freq ranges? I could ask my instructors if their is a way to tune the radio to FCC frequencies.

does it catch anything on those channels? What are they used for in the US? It'd be neat if it picked up something else.

looks like it will catch mostly tv channels for FM. AM looks about right.

Not sure exactly I didn't try the radio here, but I think that there's an antenna converter that you could get that will step it up.
