Sidewall rating of 44PSI. I run them much, much higher than that. Right now they are patiently waiting for the VX. I guess I will have some VX with michelin somethingorothers on them to sell.

As far as tires go, the Michelin Energy series and Harmony series are recognized as being LRR. They replace some of the carbon black with silica. The Bridgestone Potenza RE 92 in the 165/65/14 size has 40% lower rolling resistance than a non LRR tire. This is the size used on the Insight and as I understand it, all other sizes of the Potenza's are not LRR.

One 165/65/14 Potenza RE 92 mounted on one HX rim weighs 24.4 lbs.
Where did you find the 40% reduced rolling resistance number? 40% less than what? I'd like to find the rolling resistance for mine, too.

If you google Potenza RE 92 or LRR tires you will find a few references to it. I never saw an actual value but I figure that if it is on the Insight, you wont find a lower LRR tire. I think that insight central has a reference to it as well as insightman.com. Good luck finding an actual value.

Honda Civic HX Alloys
Weight: 12.75 pounds
Size: 14"
Notes: Ugly
Price: 200-300
<IMG style="; WIDTH: expression(this.width > 800 ? 800: true); max-width: 800px" alt="" src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v511/SavageMulisha13/DayShot.jpg" border=0>

Darn that red pain paint job on the HX wheels looks good. I even have a spray can of the milano red from the Del Sol which came with the Maaco paint job. You think that would look good on the VX? Any opinions?

How do i get the picture to show up?

You can't use html unless you surround it by code tags, but it in [img.][/img.] tages but remove the period.

I need a shot now that all four of my rims are painted.

Yes, I had done that, but the only person or place saying 40% improvement was that one site. IMO, there should be an efficiency rating on every tire, like in dollars of fuel consumed for 15,000 miles (a year for avg driver), so we can easily tell what the best choices are.

I also found it on a honda press release. It looked like insightman copied his blurb word for word from the honda press release. I found the press release a few weeks ago when googling the VX.
