Well, did my general tune-up/checks last week. Removed the "snorkel" from the air intake so the car is just pulling air in from the engine bay.

Still trying to set up an onboard diagnostic system, but whoever installed the stereo in the car messed with the 12V system so the cig lighter doesn't work...now I have to trace wiring or just run a set from the battery.

man, I feel ya. Whoever wired up my stereo didn't use the 12v line in the stereo clip, but instead decided to wire it to the cig lighter. Not only does it put the stereo on the wrong fuse now, but it also putsit on a few with the wrong amperature.

This is the only fuse I've blown in this car.

Yeah, this must be what they did on my car, but I haven't pulled the dash apart to find out for certain yet. The radio and lighter actually are on the same fuse in the Metro so pulling fuses didn't tell me anything.

Planned list:
-Engine Block Heater
-Seal up the fog light area
-Replace PCV
-PCV catch can
-Get taller tires after these wear out

That's all I need to do, I basically replaced everything I wanted. The PCV is too hard to get to and I don't have the proper tools. I'm getting 30mpg now. After all that stuff is done I should be around 32mpg.

Replace front crankshaft seal
Fix whatever is causing the sawing sound from the front right wheel
Try some 13" wheels instead of 12"
Lubricate the door locks
Find and install new rubber covers on the door switches
Find/install some nicer seats from a newer Metro
Find/install hatch release lever/cable/assembly

Planned so far

Planned mods:

LED lights for tail lights/ signals/etc.
PCV catch can
Drop springs (maybe a bigger sway bar???)
belly pan maybe (I did notice I already have a rear tray of sorts)
scan gauge gizmo thingy

Completed mods:

increased tire pressure
RP synthetic oil
Lucas fuel treatment (more for clean injectors)
interior LEDs (they match my dash lights )

I'm hesitant to do any kind of major modification other than the drop springs and maybe the PCV can since the car is still under warranty and I'm making payments.

Note to self, pay cash next time...

Well I took SVO's advice and I have driven my Civic down to my shop. I will start my 5 speed conversion in 1.5 weeks.
