That diagram shows where that little vacuum sensor should be and the hoses that should connect to it. And yes, the top of it is supposed to come off that easily. :thumbup:

From my VX experience, it takes a while to get used to driving the VX drivetrain in order for it to get great MPG. Once you're a few tanks in, your mileage should go up.
