La - La land! Fighting a headwind and storms all the way to Los Angeles. A lot of driving in 5th gear to keep torque/grip up. Baker CA. was the only place I've ever been where it was raining like a monsoon and winds were blowing sandstorms through the area at the same time. Basically raining and blowing mud at the same time.

Cold, city traffic. The car really needs about 15 minutes to warm up to get good mileage. Fill up before a trip to see relatives.
