Fill at Love's, Cheyenne (no bio-diesel); after previous fill at Conoco, mpg suddenly much better--altitude?? Car idling at 1100 rpm when left in any gear; or in neutral when moving; would only go down to 800 when fully stopped. Lots of stopping on mountain road at RMNP. For this tank, MFD usually read over 50, maybe 52/53. Bad headwind from Wellington to Cheyenne (about 30 miles)

mpg should be much higher; previous fill-up not full: needle moved after about 30 miles; this was also first time topping off, so about extra gallon; mpg should have been around 40, but previous fill should have then also been lower.

fill at Valero OKC; first fill shut off--when checked tank was not full; filled again but was foaming a lot. MPG seems too high for so much city driving--must have still not filled enough. Maybe there was another gallon left in the tank?
