I would absolutely NOT put that head on an engine I expected to last long enough to reach operating temps. 1/16" is roughly 15 times the limit of my straight 6 (longer so more warpage over the length is ok). minimum new head, I'd suggest the whole engine (and have the raidator checked)

as far as gaskets, ebay specials may get you by but you must do everything else perfectly (cleaning surfaces, bolt torque, retorque, etc) and even then it's a maybe. check your local auto parts stores as well as www.rockauto.com which has most of the same stuff for better prices even after shipping. I have nothing but good things to say about them.

meh, I think I'ma let this one go. I might save the chassis for an EV at some point in the future though...


Lookin for a super cheap diesel now...
