I have longed for a TVR Cerbera since they came out. Just the standard one though. Not the V12.

I'm not familiar with that model but I know TVR had some cool cars. They were always outliers but in the 70's they had some cool cars they brought here. They looked great in articles. Not sure I ever saw one IRL.

I like tvrs, but they are so costly to maintain due to thier reliability issues. I knew a guy who had spent £11000 in repairs in just a few months of ownership, not for me. Another reason I like Porsche, they are very dependable and reliable.

The tubular chassis on TVRs are prone to rust and very expensive to repair. Everything else is pretty much "off the shelf" from various major manufacturers.

In the mid-70's I drove for a few miles near a 365 GTB/4. Typical Houston so 0-40 or so but it still sounded great. I turned off the radio and opened the windows. At one point he turned and took it near redline in 1st and 2nd gear. What an incredible sound. I still remember it.
