I know I'm getting up there in years, being 25 and all, but what is face book? and why is it a good thing?

It sounds to me like another silly corporate database for marketing products no one needs to easily manipulated college students. I don't see it as a good thing. It also seems to encourage grade slavery.

Pretty much. It's not as evil as it could be though, I generally use to to share pictures and not much else.

I don't think it encourages grade slavery, since I have never seen them mentioned on FB, but then i go to a pretty relaxed school on those things.
