Welcome! Your cool air intake need only be turned around to pull air from inside the engine bay, then it's a warm air intake, which helps on many cars.
I recommend first getting a baseline in the stock configuration, since you're new to the car.
Enter your car in
The Garage, then enter all your fuel economy information in the gaslog. For greater accuracy I recommend not topping off when you fill (just let the pump click off), and try to fill on the same side of the same pump; this helps keep your data accurate so you can know if something you've tried has worked.
