well i'm new to this forum but been in the car game a few years
current rides: (All american)
1965 mustang cobra 1 of 3500: 15 mpg avg. best of the fleet
1964 ford falcon convert 302 5- speed: 4-6 mpg depending on how i feel
1994 chevy z71 : 12 mpg need some help with this one
2000 jeep wrangler 5 speed : 16 mpg could use like 20 here
the jeep is a commuter car believe it or not. falcon and mustang after work going out to dinner and out. i've never really tried to save gas until coming on here. truck was my first car and still keep it around for fun.
There's no saving the z71. I've attempted to hypermile a friends same truck with a 5 speed. You can't eoc because the brakes and steering require a wrestlers upper body strength. He gets the same 12-14mpg. The engine is pretty tired though.

i've considered for the hell of it and the fun changing the z71 to a propane car i have a new zz4 small block in the garage and some of my boys play with propane. Yeah it gets 10 mpg's no matter how you drive it
