The aluminum flashing I had on the CRX was painted flat black to help match the colors it was when I put it on (woodland camo and rust). Rocks would hit it and knock the paint off, making little silver divots in the sea of black. Ick.

Now, with the car painted lighter blue, I painted the G.B. silver with a light gray primer. It doesn't show through now. I'm sure there are divots, but I can't see them.

All hail silver paint over light gray primer on aluminum!
