Just heard from my clutch guy, he managed to get the CRX clutch so I don't have to buy the crx throwout bearing and match it with the hydro kit, wippee! Saves me 23 bucks I don't have. It'll go out priority on monday so hopefully you all will see a picture thursday night of it.
I'm missing two nuts, actually one, but two at this time:
Pre-removal of old stuff:
The new stuff:
Emptiness in the back:
The new grommets look like no good:
New stuff in the back.
No nuts on, but the grommets:
Need to paint the grommets black and find another black nut:
On my Saturn when we swapped the head, we took a box-end wrench and put it on the nut then braced the other end on something solid. Then, I got in the car and bumped the starter until the crank-pully nut broke loose.
This works great on most engines except Hondas. Nearly all of them rotate the other way, but still have right-hand threads on the pulley bolt. The engine is on the drivers side too... most other FWD have it on the passenger's.

Bummer! That could pose a serious problem. Now, if you could just figure out how to make the starter turn backwards......
