Hypercar!

Hello -

I found this while looking at Hockey4mnhs thread on Scangauge :

http://www.autobloggreen.com/2007/01...-history-of-t/

Rocky Mountain Institute's Hypercar has an interesting design history :

http://www.autobloggreen.com/2007/01...hicle-concept/

And of course a website of it's own :

http://www.hypercar.com/

Lot's of detailed reading on implementation proposals :

http://www.rmi.org/sitepages/pid175.php#T0401

On one level it may sound like pie-in-the-sky, but I think that all it would really need is the political muscle to actually change the way we do things in this country.

The great thing about the Lovins is that whether or not you agree with the details, they can make a very convincing argument regarding the *economic* viability of doing the right thing.

They're not Cylons, but they do have a plan, .
