Duct tape increase FE 6%

I guess those of us "duct tape mechanics" are ahead of our time.

Guess you could put fuel magnets in the busted column.

I don't know if they said. it just shows how varible tank to tank reading can be. But I've got a ton of duct tape on my car. Maybe that why FE has been going up

Duct tape is not that good. Duct tape is only a crotch. I've replaced all my duct tape because it didn't hold up the parts good. I have no duct tape anymore on my car.

The duct tape that I used isn't for holding the belly pan on, it is for a smooth transition from bumper to belly pan. I spray painted it black to match the black trim under the bumper and the paint did a good job sealing the edges of the tape. The tape is still secure and may last for years at this rate.

Duct tape is also good for hair removal.

Please note the smiley on the original post.

The duct tape was just thrown on. It could have just been on the hood. It was most likely a very small piece of duct tape.

The purpose of the duct tape was to serve as a control group for the other tests, not to be an actual modification.

The only purpose I see for duct tape is maybe between body panels. But duct tape will stand out too much. Maybe some clear tape. I definetly won't use cauking.
