haha i knew you'd be able to get 70 consistantly, those tires DO MAKE A DIFFERENCE I don't care what people say!
It's not just the tires. He probably only improved 1-2mpg on his tires.
Hopefully I can do the same with taller and LRR tires.

Ah, OK. I thought it would be simpler than that - changing gears in the speedo/odo would have been easier.

Added my first car to the gas log. I did it by fill til it clicks gas fill with no top off (that is how I always do it because and top off at all with this car causes spillage)

41.95 MPG not bad

Way to go. I think it's funny that I run this site and am no where NEAR the top of the list.

It just shows that even I have something to learn.

Actually the tires were worth 3-5 MPG. Where do you come up with this stuff Compaq?

Jared, I already told him via AIM how to do it, I was just checking in case he needed it reiterated, so, I'll not be totally mean to you, bud.

Anyway, I drove some more today, yep, got my new MID chip, so that'll go in tonight and we'll be like woah tomorrow, so woah, WOAH.

Thanks Danny.

Glad it made it there in one piece. Just remember to change the fuel parameter from 11067 to 13515. That means pushing the little button about 2450 times. Yes, I tried holding it down to get the numbers to change quickly, sorta like setting a digital clock. But no, Yoshi didn't program that functionality. One button push = one digit change in the fuel parameter.

Anyway, the 13515 will get you in the ballpark. Good luck.
