Love it when I catch it. My fav has to be when they are testing the Ariel Atom and the guy is driving the course with no windscreen - you can see the g's and wind pushing back the skin on his face.

If I had $50K and a mid life crisis, I might just buy an Ariel Atom. After all, it's really a Honda.

I really liked that show. I don't think it is on discovery any more so there is no way to watch it. I like it when they test european cars I will never see in the US.

I love Best motoring. I have the BMW M5 clip from Top gear. My cousin saw the tech go past 8000rpm and his mouth just dropped.

5th Gear is my favorite car show

5th gear is my fav -- I love seeing UK-spec cars. And when Tiff gets a hold of it, he flails the crap out of whatever it is (I recall the Mercedes Van - essentially the Dodge Sprinter being jumped on a road course).

Problem is, I haven't seen a new episode on the "Speed" channel for more than a year. They had a marathon New Years Day '05 of all of the new ones for the year. Big mistake for me, because I saw them all, and nothing new since.

i remember in top gear where

i remember in top gear where they had this toyota truck and no matter what they did with it, it still ran! Incredible Toyota quality!

I like to see the same experiment conducted with a Honda.

it would have to be a honda

it would have to be a honda diesel then. the toyota was.

that's the only way it could survive the part i remember best: when they drove it out and parked it on the tidal flat and then filmed the tide coming in, completely submerging it!

yet it still started afterwards.
