Hello All,

I was wondering if anyone has put a honda vx eng and 5 speed transmission into a Honda Del Sol and if so, are there any major difficulties in doing so? I am in CA so passing smog check is essential. What year Del Sol is better to use. I am wanting to build a high mileage commuter car that will also be fun to drive on the weekends so any advise would be great. I am not 100% stuck on Honda's but I like them the best.

I seem to remember a member doing that a while back, but I don't remember who. I also seem to remember him being in California, so he must have been able to pass emissions...
