Push button stop?

Yes, some people want to install a push button start, I guess I want to do the opposite, a push button stop.

Reason? I want o keep the ignition key to "ON" where it would allow my power steering to work (yaris has electrical power steering) and I can keep the scan gauge hooked. And I don't want to go through the effort of turning off the ignition and turning it back to on.

(for the record I know that if you set the engine type of your car in the sg to hybrid, it still pick up miles.)

Possible routes:

Find the wire that takes car of keeping the engine on and put in an interruption? Where I push and hold until the engine dies and then I release?
