Retiring the Accord soon

Time to catch up on my gaslog and get ready to close her out. I went hunting for a Prius this week and signed papers on my new baby after work! Let me just say that December is a fantastic month to buy a new car. I can't wait to see what this beast will do when I finally take delivery next week .

Hey congrats, Brick. I was following some of the hunting thread on cmpg.

Looking forward to seeing what you can do with the new beastie.

That's what I figure. The truth is that I have wanted one of these since the '04 model came out, and finally decided to pull the trigger when I realized that you don't have to pay MSRP anymore (at leats for now) or wait 6 months for the order to come in.

I had other reasons to buy it besides FE, too. Chief among them is that functioning with a 2-door just doesn't work for me anymore. The Prius will make it much easier to get around with the stuff that I need to haul. It's well worth it if we don't have to make long trips in my girlfriend's heavy AWD station wagon anymore (30mpg when working my butt off, usually more like 24mpg).

A rainy/snowy Monday night at the end of the month (or better, the quarter) a half an hour before closing time in Winter is usually a good recipe. They're often focused on their quotas at that time.
