Yeah, I've been learning to feel the TC lock-up better. Plus now that I'm all conscious of mpg driving, I've found a whole lot more places in my usual drive to coast. I'm sure I've doubled my coasting distances. Once this tank is burned, we'll see what the difference is.
I have a feeling with my current setup I might do better overall by getting up to speed quicker so I can coast sooner than by accelerating as slow as possible and not coasting. I think I can push 40 mpg before the auto trans issue halts progress. There are still seats to remove and aero improvements to make.
