New NGK's for second half of tank. Denso's were shit in the first half. Had the full silencer installed for experiment.

First run with stock heatrange dual electrode Denso stock plugs. MUCH crisper throttle response, plus the A/F meter says it's running leaner now. Had idle set for 13:1 but now it's showing 13.5-13.7:1. MUST be igniting the mixture better? Also motor is running a little rougher at light throttle now. Definitely changed how the motor runs.

Last ride on the T-hawk rear tire. Taking it EASY as I'm worried about the tire going away. Still looks like it has more miles before hitting cords, but no sense pushing it when I have a new 011 sitting waiting to go on.

Nice little ride up in the mountains. Taking it a bit easy on the Tomahawk which is on its last legs. Next ride will likely be the last as most of the tread elements are worn down in the middle....want to see how thick the casing is.:)

Very pretty day...about 78F and sunny. And...I about crashed on 166 coming back from Masontown. On the uphill right hander...got a little too enthusiastic with the throttle and also I think hit a patch of hot tar....BIG slide out on the rear. Going down now to look at and try to photograph the marks to see if it matches my experience. Got it back, but took a little bit of time and banged my right leg a bit keeping it from tossing me off.:) Love this bike.

Nice easy ride...little passing except where the people were totally screwed up and I couldn't stand to be behind them. Or..the fat lady with the little hands that kept smoking and throwing shit out the window...had to get past her. Don't like fat women!

This was 21,79,68,40 run. LOTS of WFO up the mountains showing 120+ and probably a 80 ave. Bike ran well. A/F was 14:1 at 80 most of the time, so that's about as well jetted as we can get.

First run with IAT back in play. 55F this AM leaving w/60 return. Seems to get about the same mileage, but DOES pull harder up on top like this. Idle speed raises when hot due to richer mixture. Slowed it down to 1200, and am NOT stuffing the 1/4 gal in the neck. 5 times up the neck and stop now.

Last run w/1Kohm IAT input. Hooked up the sensor, for test. Runs about 1A/F richer and idled 200 too fast. Pulls great like this! Will see how the next fueling does.

This was half 87 with remaining 93..bike doesn't like the lower octane..so we'll stick with Premium ONLY. Lowered the triples 8mm which did quicken the steering a little, and maybe lower the aero profile a tad. Love the bike.:)

May 2 2014

This partial tank included a LOT of construction delays and idling. So I ran some WOT tests with the full length baffle, and it's coming back out. Runs fine down low, even a 'little' better right off idle, but it's weaker in the midrange and topend with the additional restriction. Going back to the chopped baffle.
